Decorating for Halloween.. Cleaning... Organizing... Working...

Hey ladies,

Hope everyone is well. I've been kind of slacking on here because of starting a new job position on work as well as being on vacation for 2 weeks. I'll be trying my best to stop being a lazy mess... Anyway, I've been off the past four days from work because some reason they decided to do that with my schedule. Lucky me right? Hell no. I wanted to get so much done like cleaning the room, organizing the nursery, and decorating for Halloween. I've only gotten so far by hanging the clothes in the nursery, buying stuff for the baby, shopping for groceries, and barely decorating for Halloween which is my favorite holiday. I went outside and started putting undead decorations in my bushes and then I had to go sit down because I was so overwhelmed. I just get so exhausted and out of breath easily now. I'm overwhelmed with everything lately. I mean I can't even put socks and shoes on my own feet anymore with out a hassle. The struggle is real! I know it will all be worth it when little Caleb makes his arrival but until then I guess I'll be having my pains and woes of pregnancy including the joyous things of loving food. Anyone else having similar struggles?

Hope everyone has a good day. Looks like rain yet again here that hasn't been helping my mood either, haha.

  • I hear ya girl! I find that I have the most energy and am more apt to do things in the morning or early afternoon.  If I wait until near dinner time or after HA! I'm a tired old slow mess!

  • You get overwhelmed physically or mentally?
  • If you really get out of breath putting socks on, you may want to tell your doctor.  Have you been checked for anemia yet?

I won't even list what I did this weekend.

I know I wasn't but I don't think I have been tested since I've been pregnant yet.I have my glucose test on Thursday. Will that show if I am? I mean I get out of breath trying to pull my legs up to me to put the socks on because of how my belly is uncoordinating me.

It's a bit of both lately. Mostly stress from being a caregiver for other family members and just starting a new position at work as well as everyday life tasks. I'm not depressed at all just worry and exhaustion. I guess not to mention being a FTM worries and the unknown of certain things ya know?

  • I have to stop and take a breather every few minutes too. My housework takes forever to do and I can barely do laundry at all (we have front loaders and I can't reach the back of them anymore). I feel your pain.

My doctor tests for both glucose and anemia during that test, so maybe ask if yours will too. I'm hypoglycemic and I get this way a lot lately. And now belly is so big that I have trouble catching my breath if I make the mistake of, say, going upstairs.

You could be anemic or have the same thing I have or it could just be the miracle of pregnancy where your lungs are all squished. The stress is probably making it worse (I'm right there with ya as a FTM). Either way, I hope you feel better. Maybe talk to your doctor anyway for suggestions on how to adjust. I'm planning on doing that about being out of breath all the time.
