Jumparoo...

Is my new best friend!!! We finally caved and bought one, and let me tell you! DD loves it! Had to put a pillow under her feet since she can't reach the floor yet, but she was moving and playing with everything for a good 30 min. Probably would have played longer if I hadn't had to take her out of it. If you don't have one, I say get one! ;-). Hope everyone's having a good weekend!

  • LO spends a little more time in his each day and he really enjoys it, that being said he screams in the exersaucer!
  • We just have an exersaucer, and he loves it! but we already have it on the highest setting bc he's so tall - eek!

That's so cute! Makes me wish I would of gotten that one instead. We have the baby Einstein one and like pp said she likes it a little more every day and is just figuring out she can bounce but she still seems so floppy in it. I feel like there is a lot of space behind her back. Is that normal? Or is she too small for it still?

  • We have an exersauser but the toys seem to be a little too far away still. Either that or DS just not ready for it yet. I think the jumperoo looks more fun but I got the exersauser used for $25 and I love a bargain
  • Cuuuuuute babies!!! I'm going to order one for DD soon but just ordered her high chair which set us back about $150. :-S I am 99% sure she's going to LOVE it.

She looks like she could fly to Mars in that thing!

Put a rolled up blanket behind her?
  • @Hbird05‌ my dd seams to fit hers nicely. But I know the walker we have, she has tons of room behind her. She also can reach the toys better with the Jumparoo than the walker. So maybe put a blanket behind her to help sit up better?

We have the rainforest friends one, too! Literally the only way I can get anything done during the day when I'm home with LO. He's obsessed with the butterfly thing.

We also have the rainforest one. I put it together yesterday and put LO in it for the first time. He immediately stuck the butterfly wings in his mouth and started to laugh! It was so cute, he just kept chomping on those wings and laughing. I got lots of good video out of it.

  • @hbird05 we also have the baby Einstein jumper and LO has a lot of room in the seat as well, I put a little pillow behind him for extra support.
  • Is a jumparoo the thing that hangs from a doorway?

  • @Jcrewgirl85‌ , it doesn't hang from the doorway. It just stays on the ground and they bounce around. We have a pillow under it since dd can't reach the ground yet. Here's a pic.

  • We love it too!

  • I'm a FTM, how long do they play in the jumpsroos/exersaucer?
  • Ftm too, not sure month wise how long but dd plays in hers for about 30 min at a time.

  • Thanks for starting the thread - ours has been in storage in the basement but I brought it out this weekend, I didn't realize until I read this that she's old enough to use it. DD can go for about 15 minutes, she still seems a little confused by it but it does seem to keep her engaged. I also haven't put batteries in yet ... I think I'll save that for a rainy day.

It will go in my husband's office. He watches 3 days a week and he can use whatever help he can get.

My pedi said no more than 20 - 30 min/day because it can be bad for their hips if they clock too much time in there.

FYI make sure to gather the bottom where they sit and tie it with a shoe lace or something so their legs hang it's better on their hips til about 7 month or so.

  • I put DD in the jumper that hangs from the doorway. And she loves it.
She just spins herself in circles and cracks up.

We have a couple styles of the doorway one that were handed down to us. They seem so unsafe, so I was way nervous about putting her in it but I finally decided to give one a try this morning. She got a kick out of it, especially when she figured out how to spin, but after about 5 minutes she was over it (probably for the best). I think I'll get a Jumperoo instead, because I so need one more baby thing taking up floor space lol.
