update to pointless vent (birthday weekend)

Well, DH pulled it off. He choose an amazing resort, we enjoyed the grounds and pools and hotel room. Live music in the evening.

The restaurant called DH back - they had a cancellation and were able to seat us. The dinner was a-m-a-z-I-n-g! Chef's menu, sushi, totally exotic and unexpected. Delicious. 6 courses.  Exquisite.  Memorable.

For a non-romantic, non-planner sort of guy, he did quite well. :)

    That's wonderful!  Being a planner myself, I always think it's ironic that things just seem to work out for those people that aren't planners (like your husband).  My brother is like this and I swear it encourages the non-planning!  lol  

    However it happened, I'm glad it worked out and you got to enjoy your birthday! :)

    Don't know why it quoted...but that's awesome!  So glad you had a great birthday celebration!!
