Is it just me that thinks mushed up cake tastes gross? Id take a mini cupcake over a cake pop anyday and they are less stress to make. They fall off the sticks easily, and are a pain to make look perfect.
But yea you could make them a day in advance. Any place you buy a dessert from is not making it the day of your event, so in general everything is/can/will be made in advance.

I dont think I've ever had one tbh, but I've always wanted to try and make them. I figured it can be made the day before, as I had not planned on making them the day of, but wasnt sure if they could be made sooner than that.
You could definitely make them a couple days ahead of time. I have a cake pop baking pans that my mom ordered me online. I forget what they are called, but they are amazing. Just add extra egg, milk, and pudding mix to the cake mix, pour and bake. They taste great and no smushed cake involved.

I would like to believe you are the only one. Cake pops are the bomb diggity!
I agree that you can probably freeze them. Also, if you coat them in that melted candy coating, I would think they would last at least 3 or 4 days without being frozen.
I have a friend that makes them and she says if you make them in advance be careful about what else you have in your fridge with them. They will start to pick up the flavors of the other things in there...

thanks @swawnacpa. I know that's the case with the chocolate lollipops too. Makes sense since they both use the same outside coating. Thanks. I might not have thought of that.
