Increased movement

in October 2014 Moms
So I keep reading that this far along there is usually a decrease in movement but my baby seems to be moving more then ever before. More active more often and lots of twisting, flipping, kicking etc. anyone else experiencing this? I wonder if it's a sign of labor soon?

    I don't think it's a sign of labor soon... I think that sometimes we feel an increase because the baby has very little room left. I feel like I have a ninja kickboxer in there!

    This. The amount of space they have left is dwindling, so you probably are just feeling the kicking, punching, etc more now because of that.

    Yeah I totally feel her kicking and wriggling around...every little movement. She does not like my pregnancy pillow. Or my hand on my belly. Or a cat cuddling the bump. At all.

    Yes and I can feel her hiccups way better than before. Sometimes she gets real still for hours at a time. But I chuck it up to baby's got to sleep.

    You must be really wanting to go into labor. Sorry, not a sign that it's coming.

    This baby is moving constantly. It seems to have increased, and a lot of his movements are uncomfortable. I think it's just that they're more noticeable since baby is getting bigger.
