Good morning ladies,
I've been debating on joining the board for quite some time. Today is the day.
My H and I have a beautiful two year old daughter. We struggled for two years to conceive her and I got pregnant between IF appointments. I have PCOS with very irregular cycles. When I got pregnant with Aubrie I was exercising every day, cut a lot of foods out of my diet and was doing everything possible to help our chances. (And, quite honestly, I have no idea if any of those things actually helped.)
We began trying for number two when Aubrie was a few months old. I knew in my heart it was going to be a long and painful road again.
Today marks the end of our 20th cycle. I took a pregnancy test yesterday and got a BFN. This is our fourth round of Clomid and we are waiting in line to see an infertility specialist, with the next step probably being IUI.
I'm sorry you're all experiencing a very real and devastating pain. People tend to think that because you have one, you shouldn't have a problem having another. Trying to explain secondary IF to people is like talking to a wall.
Anyhow, enough rambling. I hope to get to know you all.
Me: 27 DH: 28

I've been on Metformin (prescribed by RE) since May and that has really helped level things out and I lost weight too. So hopefully the RE can give you some pointers on managing the PCOS and get you moving in the right direction.
