So had probably the worst day EVER yesterday so I feel the need to share. Wed I took my son to two doctor apts. His 6 Mo checkup and a second opinion at the dermo regarding his Mastocytosis. Well the 2nd opinion confirmed the condition but when I asked about blood tests I was told it wasn't necessary. I was prescribed epi-pens, told all the foods to not give him, prescribed and antihistamine, a cream for his back and told to go to the allergist. Then was his 6 mo apt. Only gained 6 oz and told to up his milk once again, add more rice cereal and prescribed a reflux med. Luckily I was able to get a allergy apt the next day so I was excited to hopefully be moving forward or so I thought.
I get tot he allergist to be looked at like I was crazy. He tells me no kids have allergies at 6 mo..first off that is BS. My brother's kid is allergic to more foods then I can count. He wouldn't do the allergy testing the dermo requested and kept asking me how they came to this diagnosis and what kind of doctors I was going to. Funny part is I went to two dermos the pedi recommended that he also would recommend. Told me they can't diagnose without doing a bone marrow biopsy..WTF?? Now im sitting there completely freaked out and confused. Long story short he wasted my time, told me he was calling both dermo's to understand more (as he is looking up the condition since he has NO CLUE ABOUT IT), sends me to the hospital to get blood work so he can check blood cells etc to see if there are any other issues then will call me later once he speaks with coworkers.
So I head to my next stop..I can see at this point I am not going to make it back to work so I'm already pissed. I end up sitting in the hospital for 2.5 hours for three separate people to poke the crap out of my kids arms while he is screaming bloody murder. All for what???? to not get one ounce of blood!!!! The one drop they got they said they could do one test for and then the nurse goes..opps I just got a clot in it never mind. You need to come back next week once his arms heal to do all the blood work again. I could of murdered someone! As I walk out to put my kids clothing back on another nurse walks in and asks if my 6 month old is angry?! Seriously lady he was just poked the S*it out of are you kidding me??? By then I have already bled through my clothes..sorry tmi and have to run to pick up my toddler. On my way home my toddler says he has to pee and I just can't handle one more mess. So I pull over the side of the road to pull out the potty and I some how manage to get my foot stuck in my skirt, fall out the truck with my skirt completely down. Yep..that was it. I drive home in silence with everyone crying to come home to my husband complaining he has a headache. Could he have managed to get the babies meds?? Nope he forgot but since his head hurts I need to take the baby with to get the meds. So I take the baby to target and just my luck the pharmacy closed a minute before. Now im off to CVS! Make it home finally by 8 with a crying unhappy tired baby. Give him his meds and pass out. All a while I keep hearing a really loud spinning noise..yep the AC died again for the THIRD TIME THIS YEAR!
So ladies...that's all i got. I am praying that now it's friday my luck is looking up. Let's hope it's not a hot weekend!!!!!

Me 38 MH 41 - TTC since June 2010 - dx with Severe MFI. Straight to IVF with ICSI. IVF #1 - ER 06/13/12 - 9 Eggs Retrieved - 4 ICSI'd - only 2 fert. 06/15/12 - 2DT - 3 cell & 6 cell with fragmentation. Beta 06/29/12 - IVF #1 = BFN. 07/20/12 - WTF Appt -Told by our RE to quit IVF. Second Opinion from RE is good. IVF#2 - November 2012. Estradiol Pills Started 11/6. Stims start 11/16. ER 11/26 - 7 eggs retrieved - all mature. 4 fertilized with ICSI. ET 11/29 Transferred 3 embryos. Beta is 12/10. 1st Beta 81 2nd Beta 160 and 3rd beta 360!!! First U/S 12/21/12 - We saw one beautiful gest. sac. 2nd U/S is 01/04/2013 - H/B 183 02/05/13 - NT Scan - everything looks good and IT'S A BOY! Aiden was born 08/20/2013.
IVF #2 is in progress. ER was 05/12/14 - 11 eggs retrieved, 8 fertilized with ICSI. ET was 05/15/14 - we transferred 3 embryos as we did on the cycle my son was conceived. We were able to freeze 3 embryos. Beta is scheduled for 05/26/14. 1st beta - 111. 2nd beta - 159 didn't double
3rd beta Friday 5/30) - not a lot of hope left. Beta # 3 is 247 - probably ectopic. Beta # 4 is 813 - possibly vanishing multiple sydrome? 06/05/14 - 5w4days - first U/S - we see a gestational sac and yolk - still have hope! 06/17/14 - 7w1day - U/S and saw and heard the heartbeat - Finally! 06/27/14 - 8w4days - Baby and heartbeat look and sound great

Holy freakin moly gf what an aweful day. You couldnt even make that up. I am so sorry you had to deal with all that and Im sorry for all the stuff going on with your LO. When reading your story it made me sad, mad, confused, and laugh (about your skirt). What a rollercoaster of emotions that must of been. You are a strong woman!!! Hugs.

We were told that they couldn't allergy test Baby I until 1 year and we're having it done at the pedi's office. She was reacting to hummus with pine nuts.
