edited September 2014 in November 2013 Moms
I need help.
I'm trying to find a hair dye. What would be a good brand for a nice chocolate/medium brown?
My brain is fried from all the different brands and choices of browns..so what's your experience? Shower me with your insights and wisdom!!

I'm a natural brunette, I found the brand Wella to be an excellent semi-pema hair dye.

I use Wella #445 (Light Auburn) and Developer level 20. I let it sit for 35min and its perfect!

I used to spend a fortune at the salons, but the color would always vary based on my colorists attitude. Yep. I went to Sallys, asking the employees for help. They are quite knowledgeable - and usually quite experienced in the beauty industry.

IME box colors are usually shades...always washing out. If your looking for a salon color (semi perma) to get greys colored, etc go to a salon first to get the colorist to correctly color your hair - their good at matching the right color to your skin tone and eyes. Then when you get your color, go to a Sally's and have them color match the colorists.
