Christmas shopping for a 21 month old girl.

I'd like to start Christmas shopping soon for my little girl who will be 21 months old on Christmas day.  So far she is my only daughter. I'm curently pregnant with number two.  What do you normally buy for a 21 month old girl?  I don't want to go overboard because shes so young, but i know this Christmas will be so much more fun than last Christmas.  Any tips, would be great!

    Little people anything
    Little kitchen or playset
    Paints, big paper for finger painting. 
    Big chunky blocks (mega blocks are great)
    With a baby coming along maybe a new doll and cradle or stroller for her to have

    In addition to what everyone else mentioned,could get her a Cozy Coupe or a tricycle.

    We got DD the little people Disney princess talking castle when she was 2.  She's now 4 and it's still by far her favorite toy, she plays with her little people princesses and that castle almost every day and when she packs toys to go out, they're the 1st in the bag.

    My DD turned 2 in June.  Her favorite toys right now are:
    • play kitchen (I sometimes put water in the sink for her to "wash" her dishes)
    • tea set (I'll put water in the teapot as well)
    • window-safe markers for drawing on the windows
    • little people school bus
    • doctor kit (she checks out all her baby dolls and stuffed animals)
    • trucks and cars
    • balls and little tykes hoop
    • duplo blocks

    For Christmas this year, some of the things we're considering:
    • a brio-style train set
    • a ride-on toy, like the plasma car
    • magnetic blocks
    • a drum (god help us)

    I should mention, so far she hasn't been particularly interested in lacing cards or wooden puzzles, but I know that's different for each kid.
