Seriously, what is up with me and the final weeks of pregnancy?!
My belly has been super itchy the past few days and today it turned into a rash. Not a terrible one, but little red bumps. My right arm also became itchy with similar bumps.
I called my midwife thinking she'd put my mind at ease, but she told me to come in! They want to make sure it's not choleostasis and that my gallbladder and liver are functioning properly. Thankfully my MIL was able to come stay with DS who was already asleep.
Everything looks okay so far, just waiting on lab results. I just want my bed and not be so itchy!
UPDATE: The great news is that there are no signs of preeclampsia or choleostasis. The not as great news is that it looks like I'm one of the unlucky ones with the start of PUPPS. Nothing a little hydrocortisone can't help fix. Thanks for the positive vibes, ladies!
