After getting the official diagnosis with pre eclampsia on Wednesday the doctors decided they would let me make it to exactly 39 before they would induce, that's today. DH and I are getting ready and loading bags into the car/stopping for one last snack at our favorite sub shop before heading into the hospital to get started. I've been told that even if OB is super busy I will be kept at the hospital and started on drugs, just kept in a recovery room until another proper room is open for me.
Over-due ladies, I hope your time comes soon. I don't envy that you guys are still waiting to start labor at all. You have my total respect.
Also THANK YOU to everyone who shared their birth stories who were also induced, I actually re-read a lot of those stories today to help calm myself and try and give myself a confidence boost. I am terrified and excited.
FX I can do this without the cs.. but more importantly FX that baby girl and I come out on the other side of this just fine.
