Hi all, I know that our sense of smell is supposed to be heightened, but I didn't think that the natural smell of my boyfriend would disgust me. I hope this goes away soon, I miss him- been making him sleep on the couch.
I go around all day telling kids and H to take showers if they want to be near me lol Also telling kids to brush their teeth. My smell is definitely heightened!
I had this during the whole first trimester of my pregnancy with DD#1. Somehow, smelling my husband made me sick to my stomach. He was the only person that bothered me. Guess my body held some resentment for what he'd done to me
Early second tri i dealt with this. DH had to shave off his beard. Now that it's almost fully grown again... I need it gone again! He gets sauces and meat in there and the smell.. oh lord.
Yesterday in a Halloween store I thought DF breath smelled like farts and I didn't understand because I saw him brush his teeth an hour before. When he gave me the Look and said "we gotta go" I figured out he had just been crop dusting me the whole time.
This is always my first sign of being pregnant, I want to punch my H because he smells icky. I buy him new soap constantly trying to find the magic one, and he currently has 6 different deodorants in the bathroom because I keep changing them.
With my first I hated anything with a smell that my husband used. He had to change his shampoo, deodorant, soap, toothpaste, everything. Luckily this time he only had to stop with any cologne.

This was the worst during my first trimester. I can smell my daughters breath from 10 feet away. I make her brush her teeth constantly. I used to love how DH smelled, now not too much. It's gotten better though. I've hidden his cologne. (Funny because I'm the one who bought it for him)
November Siggy Challenge: How I feel in the Third Trimester
My husband smells like garlic all the freaking time though it is worse after a couple beers. It is so gross to me and I've really started to notice it the last month or so. I'm constantly asking what he ate and he swears, none of it ever has garlic. Weird and ick!!
