Well. Actually, just stripping.
So I'm all sorts of confused. i joined this FB group something along the lines of Fluff Love and CD Science and I guess they are all about stripping. I was thinking mine might need it but I am so confused I can't even tell my butt from a hole in the ground right now.
I'll lay it out for you
THE ISSUE
My Charlie Bananas are effing yellow. like a nasty, dingy gross yellow. They have this sort of oily feel to them as well (almost like the diaper cream isn't coming out, but we use CJs which is CD safe) and are somewhat leaky. Instead of doing what I have always known to be good and coming here first, I posted on the Charlie Banana FB group about it. Only one person replied and said I should strip them. Then on the Fluff Love and CD Science group they are talking about stripping all of the things that ever existed.
WHAT I RESEARCHED
I watched all sorts of Youtube Videos on stripping and searched the forums and I have no idea where to go from here. So many people are all BLUE DAWN FOR ALL THE STRIPZ. Others say never use dish soap in your washer. I couldn't find any threads here that highlighted why and how to strip, but I won't pretend I spent hours searching them.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I will be switching from Nellie's to Tide Ultra (I guess that's the closest to Original Tide powder we have).
Also, I used to work for a department store in the shoe department and my boss would leave me notes on what to do. Instead of writing "unstuff the shoes and take them out to the floor" she would say "strip and put out". She wasn't trying to be funny either. Anytime someone talks about stripping their diapers I think of my boss and shoes. Just in case my title needed explanation.
