IUD Mamas, come in!

Ok, so I've noticed every time DH and I dtd (do the deed) I end up spotting the next day...anyone else??
I got it put in mid-Sept
Is this just a side effect?
Grrr!! Annoying!

*On the upside, I've never had such a higer "drive" in my life :) hehe

    I've had Mirena since mid March and I've had no spotting.

    So far I LOVE it!

    Wierd.  I can't say that I ever spotted while I was on the IUD.

    I really did appreciate having a sex drive again after taking the pill though.

    I finally stopped spotting mid-December (it was inserted 10/1) and haven't had issues since.  I did have to go get the string cut; DH said it was too pokey.

    I looked into getting an IUD, but I learned that they work in several ways, one of which is by preventing a fertilized egg from implanting. ?Is Mirena different? ?

    I spotted all the time with my Mirena.  Both after sex and at random.  It was terrible and I ended up getting it taken out.  But I'm so attached to the idea of the IUD (so convenient) that I'll probably try another after the baby is born.
