Back Labor?

in October 2014 Moms
I know there have been a few posts on this but I can't find anything specific. I had back labor with my son but it was located in my sciatic region. I am pretty sure the pain I am experiencing now is similar but it is higher in my back. It radiates like the sciatic did. And its always followed by contractions. I know I need to call my doc but I am also trying to wait it out.

    I would call your ob, I had back labor with ds3 and that's what it sounds like

    I feel like its just sever back ache but the only thing that relieves it is DH holding the massager on it and it doesn't really relieve it it just makes me not think about it as much. But as soon as he turns it off I am in tear up pain.

    @crawford411 Yeah its been getting worse over the last week and I haven't had the baby yet either obviously. I am getting to the point today where I can't take the pain anymore.

    @crawford411 yeah I feel like I havent slept at all because I can't get comfortable. Prodromal sounds horrible hopefully something happens soon. I have a Dr. Appoitnemnt in the morning. So hoping something happens tonight or they have a resolution tomorrow at my appotment

    If you are having regular contractions I would call the doctor, whether it's in your back or not. I would make that the primary indicator. You can have all kinds of back pain but if you are not having regular (and increasing in intensity) contractions, then it's probably not labor.
