Hypnobirthing classes?

Anyone tried/trying hypnobirthing classes? I'm considering it as I'm looking for a class geared towards helping you feel calm during birth, but I'm also worried it might be a lil out there . . . I plan to get an epidural if I can but for medical reasons there is a chance I won't be able to so I want to feel prepared!
