Aaaallllllll of them!!! Halloween because I'm excited for Edolie to look all adorable in her costume in hopefully amazing weather, Thanksgiving because FOOD, and Christmas truly is the most wonderful time of the year.
February Siggy Challenge: Favorite TV couple ~ Jim & Pam
Usually I am all about Thanksgiving way more than Christmas, but now that I'm a mom I'm really looking forward to seeing Christmas through my daughters eyes and building those memories and traditions for her.
Christmas just needs more stuffing associated with it so it can then be the ultimate holiday.
Christmas! Now that Carter is here I am all about it. I am really looking forward to being able to do the family traditions that my parents did with me growing up, with Carter.
I voted for Christmas but I am a little stressed because we have not had the "where are we doing the holidays" discussion yet and I have a feeling DH is going to push for us to do the 7-hour drive to his parents and I don't wanna!!!! (Stomps feet)
This is our first holiday season in our new house. I can't wait to hand out candy to tricker treaters, host my first family dinner, and buy the biggest Christmas tree I can fit!
Super stressed!!! I'm Catholic and SO is a Jehovah Witness. We sit down and compromise every year but I'm not sure how it will go now that we have LO. :-(
We had 800 trick or treaters the last 2 years, so it's expensive and very chaotic. My favorite is thanksgiving because my family has a long standing tradition of going to the Detroit parade, eating lunch at White Castle (the only place open 55 yrs ago), and dinner at my aunt's house. So much fun! The car ride will not be so much fun. Christmas is nice because we won't have to travel and the kids love it.

Us too, we move in 2 weeks. Super excited to have a mantle for stockings!
Super excited for Christmas with the little one this year!
Super excited for Christmas! Since we've been together (9 years), DH and I have never spent Christmas Eve overnight in our own home. We've always been at his or my parents'. Now that LO is here, we plan to be home and start our own traditions!
All! In the past few years I started to get to be a Grinch about most holidays and had some truly sucktacular ones in recent memory but I have a renewed excitement about them now that LO is here. What will she wear for Halloween? Will she enjoy a taste of pumpkin pie? What will she think of all the crazy decorations at Grandma's house?
Just trying not to think about the cross country plane rides from OR to SC with an infant in my lap. And the fact that my drunk uncle (drunkle) will be there for Christmas too...ugh!

Our new house has a bay window in front. Perfect spot for a tree!
We have a Christmas Story leg lamp and I'm pretty sure that's going in the front bay window lol
This just made me think - matching Xmas jammies this year! I need to find baby and toddler sized ones that match! We never did it when I was a kid, but I love the idea of a present Xmas eve that's jammies, hot chocolate and a Christmas movie to share, so it's sort of a family activity disguised as a present. I want to start doing that!
I need to think of something other than a movie, though. It's blasphemy to watch anything other than It's a Wonderful Life Christmas Eve according to DH. Maybe a new Xmas themed book every year? Or a board game as kids get older?
I love the idea of new jammies + hot cocoa + a movie on Christmas Eve.

However, I'm excited for Christmas because Josh will have 20 days of leave he can take. Thank goodness because we need a break!
