Would you take Sudafed or Mucinex DM? (poll)

So, I am having my much-anticipated night off tonight, and need some advice. DS still nurses a bit at night, and I don't want to be leaking milk all over Cute Dad's sheets tonight! I have heard that the ingredients in Sudafed and Mucinex DM can cause a dip in milk supply. If you were going to take one of these for that reason, which would you take? I have very mild allergies right now, so I have no dire need to take any meds at all, and want to avoid feeling drugged up. This is probably flammable, eh?

    He has been nursing a whole lot the last week or two. I think it's teeth and also he's now verbal, so I get MOTN  "Nuh? Nuh? Moe? Nuhhh?" requests. 

    I really don't want to feel drugged up, so someone on another board suggested No More Milk tea that I'm going to give a try. And probably pump/hand-express as needed.

    I said SS as I've had a few friends that have taken both and lost their supply. I'm not sure how many doses it took but is be afraid that it would only take one if you are down to just a few sessions. It sounds weird but I've also been told that if you want to dry up fast take those.

    Y'all trust my boobs way more than I do. I drank an oatmeal stout one evening and they went cray-zay. I totally squirted milk during sexy time when he grabbed my boob. lol

    I voted mucinex. I took sudafed when DS was only a few months old and it did nothing to my supply.

    I didn't read this earlier, but my milk boobies do the same thing! Lol

    You have to tell me what you did and if it worked. I'm hoping for some fun time soon and the milk has been a problem in the past. I get this huge letdown, usually right as things get good. Boo!

    Just reading this now, but I was going to say that a bit of engorgement can make the girls look good, ha!! At least I can tell when I've skipped a nursing session or two.
