Baby shower thank you card question

My mom and my sister threw me a baby shower a few weeks back. One of my aunts gave me a really cute sleeper for LO. She told me that she has a friend who makes custom baby blankets and that the blanket was my real gift - she just wanted to wait to find out the sex and LO's name so that could be encorporated into the design. The sleeper was just so I'd have something to open from her. So, for her thank you card, do I acknowledge the blanket, too? I don't want her to think I don't appreciate her attendance or the gift she already gave me. At the same time, I don't want her to feel obligated to the blanket if things fall through and maybe mentioning it would do that? Or, I'm overthinking things, which is a very real possibility.

    I'd probably send a note telling her how great it was to see her, thank her for coming and for the outfit. Then when she gives the blanket, send another note.

    Maybe mention the blanket and say that you are looking forward to it. I think if she committed to making it, then she really wants to make it. If she had doubts about completing it, I doubt she would have brought it up to anyone.

    I would mention both gifts and go ahead and thank for both . I had someone do the same for me with DS as I was team green.

    I would send a thank you for the gift you've already received. And then when she gives you the blanket send another thank you card.

    I would mention both gifts in one thank you since she said it was part of your baby shower gift, even though you don't have it yet. Say how you can't wait to see the blanket, etc.

    Agreed; maybe not a "thank you" yet but I think it would be nice to acknowledge the thoughtfulness of the blanket

    Thanks for the suggestions.  I think I'll mention the blanket.  We're fairly close, so I don't think she'd mention it if she wasn't planning on it at all.
