Diabetes Mamas

At ten weeks I have already had two ob visits and an endocrinologist appointments. Now I am being referred to a high risk doctor. I have had the privilege of being blessed with type 2 diabetes from my family. Now I'm pricking my finger up to four times a day and on a rigid meal plan. Any other high risk or diabetes moms that can relate out there?

    I am extremely grateful! I lost my first pregnancy, so I did not get this far along to start all of the diabetes complications last time. It's definitely more venting than complaining on my end.
    I had searched for other threads and did not notice the high risk Friday group. I'll keep an eye out. Thanks for the understanding and referral.

    I am also a type 1 diabetic (very long-term... 30 years! Diagnosed very,very young). I am on a similar schedule as saltbox. Diabetes is a pain, but you have to put in the work if you want baby to be healthy. Good luck to you.
