hi, I'm sage. I've been on TB since I was KTFU with my youngest son (he was a d12 baby) but ended up in a Facebook group with him and rarely came on here anymore.

I'm now due with a girl on the 21st, after 3 boys I'm still in denial that this ones a girl lol! I've had quite a few complications this time around but I won't go into too much detail. I've been on bed rest since 14 weeks but my doctors are hopeful I can make it to term.

She'll be my 5th c section, 2nd this pregnancy (due to the complications but they decided not to take her out the first time) and last baby ever because I can not go through another pregnancy. I'm excited for her to get here but also extremely excited to never be pregnant again.

My other kids are 6, 5, and almost 2 (nov 30).

I know I'm late to the party but I can use the company of some other October moms :)

    I'll be anywhere between September 30th and October 15th. No date set yet, I'm on a week by week schedule but I'm hoping by the 30th I'll have a date :) she's been trying real hard to come early so I told my husband she's got to stay in as long as possible now because I don't want to be admitted again just yet lol

    Hello and welcome, I was late to the party too due to lack of Internet. After reading this I'm very curious of your story in the part that this is your 5th CS being the 2nd one with her, if you don't mind did they open you up and then change their minds at the last minute. I've never heard of this happening and I'm curious since this doesn't happen everyday. It's okay if the question is to personal and you don't want to explain.

    At 27 weeks an ultrasound showed my uterus was so thin they were sure I was about to rupture. They prepped me for a c section, cut me open, saw the thin spot wasn't as bad as u/s showed but was still thin, decided it was safe enough to let me continue the pregnancy and sewed me back shut. They didn't cut into my uterus but they did start the procedure (and made a new incision instead of going through the old scar tissue which didn't make healing easy) so technically 2 c sections this pregnancy ;) I was already high risk due to a confirmed accreta so they weren't taking any chances with anything that looked off.

    That's good that she was able to continue to grow and mature! She seems like she's a fighter, you are gonna have your hands full!!

    Oh yes, my oldest was a 32 weeker and I'm sure having to fight through a nicu stay is where he got his stubborn attitude ;) this ones gonna be a rebel too, already wanting to do everything her way lol
