Omg omg omg

my mom is taking dd in two weeks for an overnight and my bff has offered to take dd2 the same night. Recall, dd2 doesn't sleep. Wth are dh and I going to do? I'm seriously debating getting a hotel room, is that a waste? I don't know if I'll have energy to do anything besides sleep, but it sounds kind of amazing. Drinks, dinner (take out at home/hotel or eat out??), sleep, do projects, see a movie?. I am so glad I have two weeks to figure this out I am seriously ready to cry joyful tears.
Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!

    Well we get like 6pm-9am but I'll still take it.

    I would get a hotel, order in, get a bottle{s} of wine, rent a movie and have sex and sleep.

    I agree on the not staying at home thing. Even if it's just a hotel room in the city you live in, it's something different and exciting. Lots of places have pools or hot tubs to hang out at too which is a huge plus for me because I love hot tubs. Enjoy your kid free weekend!

    ETA: Because I can't use the correct tense. Jeez louise I need to just go to bed.

    Yup. Another vote for hotel, indulging in food from a restaurant that doesn't pass out crayons and lots of drunk sex and sleep.

    Oh ladies I am beside myself with excitement. The budget isn't i love with a hotel this month but I don't think I care.

    I rather eat fast food in a hotel than a nice meal and sleep at home. Pack a picnic for the hotel!

    I would stay home, order food in, watch a good movie and have sex. I wouldn't waste time going out with that time frame. Just enjoy relaxing!
