Re: Stress
Relaxation techniques, breathing exercises ( which are similar to labor breathing, without any pushing). And some exercise, walking is a really good way to relieve stress. I was diagnosed with GAD, depression and panic attacks a few years ago. I refused medication because I didn't want to have to try dif meds to see what worked, I have a 9 year old and I'm his main caregiver, so I opted for all natural remedies. Also have you had your levels checked? B-12, thyroid and glucose can all effect you mentally and neurologically. I was severely b-12 deficient and had a slightly high thyroid due to stress. Taking b-12 vitamins and including foods that contain b-12 helped a lot. I would definitely speak with your OB and your primary care doctor about your stress, and possibly being referred to a therapist, and having tests done to check your levels to see if something could be causing increased amounts of stress and go from there.
Good luck!
Some amount of extra stress and anxiety is normal, but if you feel like yours is out of control or taking a big toll on you, I hope you can find a safe and effective way to deal with it during pregnancy. Hugs.
