every evening around 6 or 7 I get super thirsty and drink like 3 bottles of water before I go to bed...the thirst hits me like a ton of bricks

anyone else have this issue?

Me too!
Nothing tastes better than ice cold Aquafina at 8pm, then before I know it, I've drank 3/4th of it and I'm peeing 6 times that night. But at the time it's always worth it!

Btw, how does 12oz of water = 6 pees?

OHMYGOSH YES! Seriously!? I wonder the same freaking thing. I try to drink most of my water in the first half of the day and limit it towards bed time, but it seems like if I just have a sip of water I'm in the bathroom 5 minutes later...and then in another 5 minutes.

WHERE IS THIS HYDRATION COMING FROM!? I DEMAND TO KNOW!

Yes! I have to keep two bottles next to my bed because I'm so thirsty all night long. I never used to drink water in the night. Ever.

Definitely! I wonder if it has anything to do with how much we're drinking throughout the day? Like maybe we're not drinking enough and its our bodies way of telling us it needs liquid refreshment? I dunno...but I'm going to get a drink!

I wake up every night to pee (as we all do) and it's during that trip I realize how thirsty I am. I'm usually chugging water around 2-3am. Weird.

This is me too. I know I'm not drinking enough during the day, and I wasn't this way with dd. At night I desperately want ice water. What I really wish I could have is a glass of water with ice so pulverized it's like snow cone ice. That'd make me so freaking happy....

And now I'm getting up to get some.

I am like this all day and all evening. I have noticed my evening drinking has increased though. I used to drink 1-2 glasses after dinner.....now it's more like 3-5.

I get the thirst at night and first thing in the morning, when I wake up all I want to do is chug a glass of ice water. It was so bad for a while that I thought for sure they messed up my glucose test results because all that I could find online about it was that it can be a sign of GD. Glad to hear it's happening to everyone :-)

Yes! Even though I drink at least a gallon of water (usually 4L) every day before dinner, I am still thirsty before bed. And immediately upon waking. And nearly every moment in between.

Same!!!! I'm barely thirsty at all during the day (i make sure to drink as much as possible though) but dying after dinner. I've also noticed that water heavy fruits make me pee 8847373 times. Like just ate an apple, no water, and five minutes later, it's like i havent peed in ages. Watermelon does the same when i have it for dessert.

I'm there with you, my intense thirst started shortly after I found out I was pregnant and has never stopped. I make sure to drink a ton during the day but still get thirsty all through the night too, I wake up parched and needing to pee. It's really annoying!
