Baseline Beta Question

HI Ladies!  Headed into round two of IUI.  During baseline ultrasound, they found follicle around 22 mm. Ultrasound lady was like "oh boy, we might have to hold off.  Looks like a cyst".  Next thing I get a message from a nurse to start Clomid Sunday.  What the? I waiting for call back from nurse but does this seem like a good idea? And yes I was the one who had the doc vent last time.  
DS: Born November 2011
TTC #2 since April '13
DH 35, Me: 34
DX: Unexplained Secondary Infertility, Slight DOR
Sept 14 - IUI (Clomid + Ovidrel) = BFN
Oct 14 - IUI (Clomid + Ovidrel + Progesterone) = BFN
Nov 14- Benched due to cysts Looking for New Doc
Feb - IUI #3 (Letrozole + Ovridrel)
March/April - IVF #1 - Antagonist Protocol - Follistim+HGH+Low Dose HCG - 11R/9M/5F - 2 8 cell 3dtransfer - BFN on April 23, 2014

    I have started stims for IVF with a cyst, I don't remember how big it was, I think it was pretty small though <10mm, 22mm seems big? That's the size of a mature follicle.. If they told you to start your meds, then go ahead and start them? Idk.. Good luck

    Your last cycle was clomid too, right? Did you trigger this last cycle? If you didn't trigger, it is VERY common to release only your lead follicle(s) and have any other follies turn into cyst esp. on Clomid, so maybe they think it's NBD? I got cysts all the time on Clomid cycles, this cycle I did a trigger though, so hopefully that will keep them away.

    I just did a cycle with a 17 mm cyst.  It stayed the same size the whole time I was on meds, but the Dr had been concerned about it growing and becoming a problem.  But, obviously, she let me progress anyway.

    Taking a break from herbs and just riding the healthy train.  
    Planning medicated cycle end of summer.  FX I get KU before then!!!
