Hello All- my first week taking over and yes, my computer completely froze and shut down again this morning, but I am up and running and posting before it hopefully knows I am going to complete a task!!!

Congrats to everyone for making it here! This check-in is for graduates of the 2IF board (and any other secondary infertility grads). If you are new to the check-in, please let us know your due date and you will be added for next week.

1. How many weeks along are you? My due date was officially moved up after the last couple appts- so I am officially 16 weeks today! Wow!

2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? Nothing until Sep 22

3. How are you feeling lately? Morning sickness getting better- weaning off Unisom to see how that effects me- so getting less sleep lol

4. QOTW: Fall as early as possible- I have been know not to admit it was August and call it preSeptember. We like to go to Fall festivals and Busch Gardens Howl-o-Scream as much as we can

Thanks for the great check-in @momarazzi007, you should totally do the sleepy mom for Halloween! Update- DD changed her mind and really wants to be a doctor now. The supergirl onesie for DD2 is just too cute so she will probably just be in that. DH and I haven't decided if we are going to let DD get a doctor costume yet, we were very clear that she couldn't change her mind.

1. 35 weeks. 4 weeks from yesterday is my scheduled C-section!

2. No medical or appt updates.

3. I feel okay. I think it's easier this pregnancy having an end date. And also I know how amazing the reward at the end is so I just keep reminding myself of that when the heartburn strikes, or when I'm getting up to pee for the third time at night. My biggest problem right now is anxiety that something is still going to go wrong. 2IF and loss brain has really been messing with me. Plus, stupid people on facebook keep posting all these news stories about sad things with pregnant people.

4. I go with the weather. We are "boat people" so we go out on our family's boat on the weekends when we can. Once it starts getting too cool to do that, or swim, I'm ready for fall. I just can't get into pumpkin spice candles and lattes when it's still 90 degrees out you know? Where I live September weather is always a crapshoot. This year, it's already into the 70s, so I am READY for fall Traditions? Our town's Oktoberfest and taking DD to a pumpkin patch.

@cerad5‌ I don't think it ever goes away- I worry constantly too and like you just try and focus on what is to come and just take it one day at a time. While I haven't been super active over here- it is very reassuring with the PAIF board knowing we aren't alone and good can come out of the bad that has happened.

1. 30w5d 2. My urine just had a little extra protein but everything else was good so they were just at the keep an eye on things stage as of Saturday. Then at my regular appointment yesterday I still had a little extra protein plus some swelling and my blood pressure went up although it's not high at all (122/67 compared to 105/52) in less than a week. Also lost my mucous plug already so that means no more work and basic house arrest for at least the next two weeks. Doctor did say don't count on going back though. What I told my doctor is I don't care what I need to do, I want two healthy full term babies and I will do whatever it takes to get them here safely. 3. Feeling better now that I'm not working but I'm running out of room in here! I do have a sinus infection though which sucks. 4.We are for sure fall people! Our wedding was the first day of fall so anniversary coming up! We always go to the pumpkin patch in October they have baby animals you can pet and feed, hayride to the pumpkin patch and a little kid maze. It's a real working farm and I am taking DD this year no matter what! I don't care how huge I am. DH can carry around one of those little travel chairs for me and I'll sit wherever we go by I refuse to miss it!

1. How many weeks along are you? According to the dr. I am 5w1d but I believe I am closer to 6w1d from DPO. My due date currently is 5/12/14,

2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? Our 1st u/s is scheduled 10/14, then we will see exactly how far along I am, by then I should be around 10-11w

3. How are you feeling lately? Heartburn and MS have set in, along with sore boobs since O. Not much of an appetite really. Very tired. But plain excited and praying everyday that this baby sticks. Each day feels like such an accomplishment!

4. QOTW: DO you have any special Fall traditions? DO you start early or soak in summer as much as possible? Fall is my most favorite time of year! I start decorating around Oct. 1... and then we usually have a big halloween party for my birthday, but that will most likely be put on hold this year lol... I bake a lot in the fall too. We hang out in the back with a fire pit and something warm to drink alot too.

Hi meant to post this here but somehow ended up on last weeks check is so thought I would re post my intro here:)

Hi ladies! Just found this thread and thought I would introduce my self. We have a DS that will be 5 in October and after he was born i was told I had PCOS. We started trying for # 2 when DS was about 6months knowing it could take a long time.

;We tried using clomid and TI with my OB for a year before she finally sent me to an RE. Turned out i never ovulated the entire year we had been trying. I was with an RE that did 5 IUIs, 3 with clomid and 2 with another oral med. after not moving to the next steep when I wanted to we changed REs. The second did one IUIs with oral meds and WAY more testing to find the underling problem. We checked my tubes and they were fine but my insulin level were 4x the amount they should have been. After being told that the last 2years were useless with such high levels (no one ever checked them before) I needed to take a short break to get my hopes back up and trust the system again. We started the new year with an IUI and injection cycle (#6 IUI) had 4follies but none released eggs in the end. We went with 2 more IUIs to try and find a good med mix for going on with IVF. After we took a few months off for some summer vacations and to give me time to reconnect with my family and my amazing DS! The biggest guilt i still carry to this day is that my DS went through 4 years without me able to give him 100%. IF was always on the back of my mind, all the RE appointments, meds and shots he saw me taking, and the one time I could not hide a major meltdown after yet another - pregnancy test are just a few things he should have never had to deal with. Well after our break we saved for our one and only IVF chance. We were so lucky to have it go so smoothly, 30 follies, 17 eggs retrieved, 13 fert, 9 made it to day 5 transfer, we transferred 2 and froze 7.

They both took and here we are:) we are adding two more BOYs by January 15th. I am really due the 30 but they will take them by the 15th. Thanks for adding me, I am really excited to get to know you all and follow your journeys!

1. Tomorrow 27w!!
2. No new medical updates. Ultrasound on Monday. Taking my mom, who has never been to an ultrasound ever.
3. Feeling large lol. Not feeling too bad, but def get tired a bit easier. Only 5 more weeks of work, and they are being good to me and letting me do all openings instead of splitting between opening and closing like we are suppose too. Closing was killing me.
4. I love the fall. Apples, pumpkins, Halloween. We have an awesome apple orchard/pumpkin patch we go to every year. Otherwise we just enjoy the cooler weather (which started really early this year. It's not been above 63 for the last 3-4 days.)

1. 35 weeks
2. Had a routine appt last week and everything looked good. Next appt is 9/23 for bloodwork and the strep b test
3. Things have gone pretty smoothly so I really can't complain but in the past week I have had more aches and pains, trouble sleeping, leg cramps and I also just came down with a cold! But we have made good progress with getting ready for LO - had an awesome shower last week!
4. QOTW: we don't really have any fall traditions since it doesn't get cool here in New Orleans for another few months - there have been some years that I remember wearing shorts in December! But fall always makes me think of the special Starbucks drinks - egg nog latte, pumpkin spice latte etc!

2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? No nothing until October 3rd, I have my GD test and 28 week check up.

3. How are you feeling lately? Uncomfortable, getting harder and harder to bend over. I woke up this morning with a stuffy head, and runny nose. I hope it stays at that, since I am feeling fine.

4. QOTW: DO you have any special Fall traditions? DO you start early or soak in summer as much as possible? NO I effin hate fall, because that means winter is right behind it. I LOVE summer and love it when it is 85+ degrees. I will never complain that it is too hot.

Its been a while since I have updated, I've been going through hell and back with DD's bio dad and a bunch of other personal stuff. Anyway, here goes.

1. How many weeks along are you?

17 weeks today. Wahoo!

2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)?

Nothing really new to report. I was referred to secondary screening for breast cancer, so Im still waiting on that appointment. Im not going to completely freak out until then. I've been through all of the testing and added testing, and everything is looking great. Baby doesn't appear to be at a risk for any genetic abnormalities. I have my 20 week ultrasound here in a couple weeks. Looking forward to that.

3. How are you feeling lately?

Not as tired, not as hungry, but still tired. My migraine headaches continue, so they gave be an RX. I try to use it sparingly, but I end up taking half the dosage each day, just to make it through the day. They are referring me to a neurologist to see if there is anything we need to be worried about as a result of the headaches.

4. QOTW: DO you have any special Fall traditions? DO you start early or soak in summer as much as possible?

It has been abnormally hot here, so we have not started any of our fall traditions. We start off my picking out "fall" scented candles, then hit up pumpkin patch(s) and so forth. This is my most favorite time of the year and Halloween is my favorite holiday, so its a happy time for us!
