When are you all registering?

Hello fellow February 2015 moms, 

Sorry if this topic has already been covered, I haven't seen it yet.  But I am 20 weeks pregnant and everyone keeps asking if I have registered yet, so they can start buying gifts.  When are you guys registering?  Or have you already?  Have a lovely weekend!

    Already done. I created one right around my announcement because people will ask. And I updated it after my 1st anatomy scan... and Ill probably update it one more time before my shower.

    Last time I registered around 20 weeks then two to three weeks before my showers I made sure items were still in stock. This time I made my registry shortly before my a/s. (Note: I am not having a second shower or sharing my registry. I needed a shopping list and the completion coupon is helpful.)

    It's in progress right now and I'm 18 weeks Sunday. I've slowly been adding things and will add more after our anatomy scan.

    We started adding the bigger items this week! I'm 17weeks and the shower date hasn't been set but ppl have been asking and I basically wanted to start my shopping list. :-) 

    Since our babies are due on Febr I'm guessing ppl will not only buy for the shower but probably gift us baby stuff at Christmas time as well so I definitely want to have my registry done and available.

    Last time, I registered shortly after my A/S - I think around 24 weeks.  If you register early, I'd suggest checking it from time to time since physical stores (especially BRU and Target) cycle their inventory so frequently.

    This time, I just have a private Amazon registry (pretty much just my own checklist of things I need so that I can use the completion discount), so it was done early since I don't need to get much.

    Yes, I agree with getting everything done and available before the holidays.  I hadn't even thought that people would give baby stuff for Christmas gift.  How perfect would that be!

    I'm 18 weeks and I just started it this week. Slowly adding items each day since I found it every overwhelming! I hope to be done soon

    I was excited so I registered around 8 weeks or so. Some things I changed or took off but I'm glad that's off my to do list. We haven't really started on converting our office into a nursery yet so the less I have to worry about, the better :)

    I'm pretty much done registering.  I haven't done any breast pump or feeding/bottles stuff yet because I haven't called me insurance to see if they cover me, what I'll get, etc.

    I did it right before we "went public" at 16ish weeks.  So far no one has asked me for it... or even started talking about a baby shower... so... it's pretty much just a list of things I need to buy.  Lol.

    I'm not having another shower but im considering registering for the swag bag and the completion discounts.

    If you register early keep and eye on it. Stores tend to rotate products 4 times a year and things may be discontinued if you do it to early.

    Last time I registered after A/S at 20 weeks. I'm going to register probably the same time, but just for me and a registry discount. Double strollers are expensive!

    19weeks and just finished although still tweeking a few things. I'm having a shower fairly early though because I'll be flying home next month. I'm on amazon and BRU; my mom is having everyone out a pic of their item in a card and then everyone is just shipping to our house so we don't have to lug it through airports.

    We have already registered. I wanted to go ahead and get it out of the way so it was one less thing to do...I was also super excited to do it so I couldn't wait that long. I'll add other things after the A/S on the 29th. My first baby shower is going to be on October 19th so I'm happy now that most of it is done.

    I'm going tomorrow with my sister. I'm 18 weeks. Since my shower is before thanksgiving, I want to have my registry done before invites go out in two weeks.

    TTC since 3/2011 Adenomyosis, LPD, hypothyroidism. 
    BFP on 7/20/12 after 4 cycles Clomid + IUI 
    2 large subchorionic hematomas & no heartbeat at 7w6d   
    D&E 8/18/12 Sonohysterography found septum and necrotic tissue.   
    Hysteroscopy to remove both 10/5
    IUI #5-7 50mg Clomid + trigger = BFN  
    IUI #8 Femara + Bravelle + HCG + Progesterone = BFP 3/27/13
    Beta 1 (13dpo) = 169  Beta 2 (17dpo) = 1073  No heartbeat at 9w3d. 
    D & C 5/10/13  Triploidy 69 (paternal inherited)
    IVF #1 with ICSI and PGS 11R 8M 5F 2 biopsied/frozen
    PGS results = 1 with trisomy 13 & 1 good embryo for FET 
    FET #1 EV, estrace, nitro patches.  Cancelled due to thin lining
    FET #1.2 oral estrace, f'ing nitro patches and no delestrogen.  Transfer 12/31. BFN
    PAIF/SAIF welcome
    Surprise BFP on 6/13/14  Our only unmedicated bfp ever.
    Beta #1 339  Beta #2 649 44 hour doubling time

    I did mine last weekend (right after we found out what we were having) I am having twins so my showers will be earlier and I needed to get it done asap!

    I have a working list of things mainly so I don't forget them, but there's only 3 things on it now. I'm not having a shower and am on the fence about making it public at all. This is my second baby, but my first was 10 years ago, I have zero baby things and things are so different than what was available then. I need a list just to keep it straight! It's DH's first and he has a big family, so we'll see if it ends up public. I'm assuming I'm buying everything :)

    We keep getting asked where we are registered, but we find out sex October 9, so probably that weekend. I want to be able to choose colors based on girl/boy, not yellow and green. Anybody seen any "puppy" items for nurseries?

    I'm so glad to hear others are having baby showers before thanksgiving!! Made me nervous that I would look tacky but with the holidays it just seemed necessary and I'm sorry but I don't want to wait until 4-6 weeks before this baby gets here to have a shower lol that's not enough time to get my crap together and get what I haven't already gotten!

    I've registered at BRU and BCF, though, I'm finding better deals at Walmart and Kmart, so I'm waiting to find out what I'm having before I switch registries. So, I'll be re-starting my registries in about 2 weeks. :-)
