First Trimester Screening - Saw baby!

Had my first trimester screening this morning at 12w1day. Everything they said was good, but we will cross fingers for final results.

Wow. What a strange experience seeing the baby moving in there! Was all stubborn and sleeping on its belly, tucked up in the corner. Finally flipped and kept its hand by its mouth and would jump around.

Hope everyone else has a good first ultrasound at some point! Was seriously bizarre to see a mini human in there.

Mine is next Thursday! Am I the only one who doesn't like this point in pregnacy I call it the unknown. Can't feel baby and it's been a month since we saw it. I always worry something has gone wrong til I are it again. Did it both my older two kids to until about 15 weeks when u can feel baby moving

I am the same way. I was cautiously optimistic that there was even a baby in there (even after hearing the heartbeat). Good luck/vibes at your appointment!

So exciting that you got to see your baby for the first time!! My first US is on Oct 1st, but I wish it were tomorrow. I can't wait. I know it is in there because I feel crampy and tired, but I want to see it!

Mine is on Monday but I peeked at LO yesterday. He/she was moving around like he/she was dancing. I can't wait to see LO on the higher quality ultrasound of the NT specialist.

That's so awesome! We had an early ultrasound so babe wasn't moving too much yet wish I could of saw that.

Congrats! I had mine this morning also! We had a little surprise of baby measuring 12+6 now, he was measuring 4 days smaller at last u/s. I guess I'm technically March now, but I'm still thinking he might come in April.

I have mine on Monday im super excited, we had an early ultrasound at 7 weeks my step daughter called it a poop. i cant wait to see a human! i might cry :x

@abc829 I was fully prepared for transvaginal, but it was actually transabdominal. I had drank a ton of water, like instructed, so I was pretty happy they did what they did.

It was really long ultrasound, maybe because the baby was face down and she kept trying to get it to flip. I then got up, went to the bathroom, and danced around the room to get it to flip. Eventually did, and she looked around some more.

This made me so happy to read! How exciting! I saw baby @ 8wks and am AMAZED at how clear it was! This post just made me 10x more excited to see my changes @ 12wk appointment next Thursday! <:-P
