If you're on IG you probably already saw, but night #1 was a success. I put him in bed around 7:25. He played around for a while but stayed on the bed - at one point his feet dangled off of it and you could tell he was thinking about getting out but didn't, lol. After about 15 minutes I went back up and laid him down again, rubbed his back for a minute and said good night. He tossed and turned a for maybe 5 more minutes but then was OUT! I woke up around 5:45 and looked at the monitor and he was still sound asleep, but 10 minutes later I heard a loud bonk and he started crying. I went it and he was standing beside the bed - I think he tried to adjust and hit the bed railing and scared himself. I will put extra pillows in tonight!

He laid in bed with us for about 30 more minutes but he was up for the day. Not perfect but overall a great first night!
