8 weeks but measuring 6

My last period was July 20. I should be 8wks but today at the first scan i was only measuring 6 wks. Doc said shes cautiously optimistic and wants to see me in 2 weeks. She did show me the heartbeat. I just cant help but think the worst. Has anyone else had this happen ?

Try not to stress. Hope you have a healthy 2 weeks and a growing little bean at your next u/s!

Hopefully you ovulated later. If your doctor is optimistic and you saw a heart beat I think that is a good sign. T&P to you and your baby.

Yes happened to me! At first I was told I should be 8w4d based on my last period and my baby measured 7w2d. Saw heartbeat on screen and doctor wasn't even worried. Yesterday heard my babies heartbeat for the first time, I was 11w2d and hb was 170! Healthy baby! Good luck to you with your baby as well keep us updated.

By LMP I was 8w1d. Per the u/s I was 6w3d. I wasn't charting this time so couldn't confirm the dates but I know that I have longer cycles and ovulate late. Hopefully it's the sme for you!

I am so glad someone else is going through the same thing i am. I should have been 8 weeks 3 days on monday but i was mesured just under 8 week. According to this app i the was size for 7 weeks.
