How are we doing? Anyone try the water challenge? If so, how'd you do?

THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE: We Like To Move It, Move It!

Try to get at least 30 minutes of activity in every day this week. Take a walk around the neighborhood, do a quick workout video, go swimming, try a fitness class. If you're already doing at least 30 minutes a day, awesome! See if you can add a few extra minutes to your regular routine.

ETA: Just because the water challenge is done, don't stop drinking! Getting enough water is vital to weight loss!

Re: Weight Loss Ladies! (9/18)

  • I re-screwed up my back, so my workout has been meh. I did okay on water...I got at least my 64 oz per day, but I should be getting a lot more for breastfeeding.
  • Loading the player...
  • I did my version of the water challenge- I haven't had anything to drink besides water and my one cup of coffee in the morning. I even passed up Diet Coke yesterday, which is one of my faves.
The 6 pounds I gained over the weekend are almost gone. I want to lose 5.8 pounds in the next 6 weeks before my birthday. It's raining here today (yay!), so I might be hittin' my treadmill instead of my normal hour-long walk in the morning.
Hope your back feels better, @magentawarped‌
  • Day 6 of my cleanse.  Still doing strong even though I have a horrible cold and feel miserable.
I keep reminding myself to drink more water.  Some days are better than others.  Today I'm already on bottle # 3.  So that's good!

  • Ack! My in laws are here for a week. Which is wonderful, but my MIL is an Amazing cook. And she's supposed to be teaching me how to cook all of my favorite recipes...pisto, pepitoria, rabo de toro...I'll be lucky to maintain this week. Maybe the get moving challenge will be my saving grace. I was good with the water, I drink tons anyway. Does walking around the zoo or museums count? That has to burning something, right?

  • moving counts as cardio, right? because that's all I've been doing... oh and unpacking.

Haven't run since Sunday. I'm so sad- I need to run NOW!

Looking into a Planet Fitness membership. Cheap and close to the new place-- any reviews on it? Good or bad?? TELL ME!

We had pizza for the 3 nights Z was away, I swear, I'm not eating pizza again for a year. Finally got to cook tonight for dinner-- tosadas, baby! YUM!

Running tomorrow and getting back at it!
  • Can I jump in on this check in?

It definitely varies by location, but I know several people who go to PF and love it. And I *think* you can take guests anytime which is awesome. I know one girl who would just go for the super cheap tanning lol.
