With DS I felt "flutters" at 15 weeks and at 16 weeks I felt the first distinct kick just below my belly button. By 17 weeks I was feeling kicks regularly (once a day or so). My kid was kind of a crazy kicker, though.  He broke two of my ribs at 35 weeks. Other women don't feel much of anything until the third trimester, so don't get too worried if you haven't felt regular kicks early.

  • I felt him kick and my partner felt him kick 14 weeks. I found out the sex at 11 weeks. I'm starting to think on further along then my Dr thinks. I'm now 19 weeks. Thought?
  • Distinct kicks at 18 weeks with DS and 17 weeks with this one. I was surprised at how much "flutters" and gas bubbles feel alike. The first time I had a gas bubble when I was post partum I thought I was going crazy because it's feels that much like baby movement. Kicks will be very obvious when they happen.

  • I started to feel little flutters that felt like fish swimming around in a fish bowl around 12 weeks. I know that's early but I know where my uterus is (at the time, in my pelvis) and know what gas feals like. Noticeable kicks at 16-17 weeks. Yesterday was the first time DH could feel a kick and it was so exciting!! I am pretty thin and know my placenta is not anterior (on the front side) because my midwife could not hear it with the Doppler/fetoscope. I'll find out where it is at my a/s next week. I mention that because it is common to not feel much movement, especially on the outside if you have much visceral fat or an anterior placenta. But everyone is different of course.

  • With my first, it was around 22-23 weeks. With the twins, I didn't know it was really them I was feeling until 20 weeks.
  • 16 weeks with this one.  Lost our last baby at 18 weeks, never felt him.  With my first two...it was around 18 or 19 weeks.
  • I felt my baby move and kick around 17 weeks and I'm now 19 weeks today
  • I have an anterior placenta, so I kinda skipped the whole "butterflies/bubbles" stage and went straight to actual kicks.  I first felt those right before 20 weeks, it only took 3 days for my husband to be able to feel them too, and about another week before I could SEE them from the outside.

  • 16weeks and I felt my first flutter. No kicks yets
  • My first I didn't feel flutters until at least 19 weeks. My second I started feeling flutters 17ish weeks but didn't know for sure until 19 weeks. I remember the u/s tech could feel baby kick during my anatomy scan (I felt the kick and saw it on the screen) at 20 weeks. With this one I'm pretty sure I felt a little flutter 2 nights ago but not much since.
  • With DD1 I had an anterior placenta and didn't feel anything until 23ish weeks.  DD2 I started feeling around 18 weeks.

    BFP1- 2/21/2013- L was born 10/25/2013!

  • I felt my first flutters around 12 weeks. Such an amazing feeling wouldn't you agree?
  • i am 16 weeks today and i can swear i feel the baby kick, its not constant or strong but if i am paying attention i know its a kick , i cant wait till he starts to get stonger and hubby is able to  feel :)
  • I'm a FTM with twins and it was probably 22 weeks or so before I felt something I knew were the babies. It wasn't frequent and I didn't feel anything strong until 24 weeks.

    I was a late bloomer.

  • I was 17 weeks along and closer to 30 weeks when I could see him distort my tummy. It was crazy to see his little body parts moving across my belly. He went nuts when I took a bath (not too warm though).
It's hilarious to see people's faces when they see baby move though your shirt. Congrats!
