Still feeling exhausted?

I'm almost 8 weeks PP and I feel like I'm never going to get my energy back. I still can't make it through the day without napping and then I'm wiped out again by 7-8pm. Baby is sleeping pretty well even and imp breast feeding. Also, the last couple days I have been feeling some tingling or like I'm about to get goosebumps which I feel sometimes in my feet, up to my knees, sometimes in my hands and this afternoon I felt it on the sides and up the back of my neck. I of course googled this and I have anything from anxiety to MS. I'm set to go back to work in 2 weeks. Anyone else dealing with the tiredness or this tingly feeling?

  • No tingles, but always tired. I'm just a caffeine junkie

  • Exhausted here as well. LO is up every 2 to 3 hrs round the clock. Plus bad reflux. lucky if we get a 4 hour stretch once a night. No tingles. but dizzy sometimes.
  • There's always a possibility you could have anemia or hypothyroidism post-partum which can make you tired. Wouldn't necessarily explain the tingling tho. Likely it's just sleep deprivation and fatigue from caring for LO. But if you really have a feeling it's more then that, talk to your doctor.

  • Exhausted -yes

Tingles, sometimes. It's a symptom of my anxiety. When I start thinking about things and the anxiety starts ramping up, the adrenaline surge does weird things. Usually it's my hands and arms that get tingly. It goes away when I calm down

  • 10 weeks = still exhausted. No tingles, but often dizzy and lightheaded.

  • Can you get more help with the baby? Change your routine? DH takes over when he gets home from work (except for the nursing) and we simplified by co sleeping. All our laundry gets washed together and we use paper plates during the day to cut down on dishes.
  • I'm 10 weeks and I'm so exhausted- I feel like I can barely function, let alone get anything productive done.
  • The only time I feel tingly is when I have a lot of anxiety
  • Yes to the exhaustion! And as far as the tingling, I get that as a result of anxiety. It normally goes away if I get calmed down.

  • Yep, along with a whole mess of other symptoms. I do get really tingly when my anxiety is in overdrive. I just started zoloft for PPD, so I'm hoping everything will improve sooner than later.

  • Tired as well and going back to work 10/6! I feel bad complaining because DS is a good sleeper but I'm still tired.

Talk to your doctor about the tingling just to make sure it's normal! Never can be too careful.
  • @BP607‌ exhausted..yes! I find myself just gazing off into space and forgetting things too. As for the tingling, I had that last week where it felt sort of numb too and I had a headache. Turns out I had a uti, even though I didn't have burning down there. If it continues it woukd be worth a trip to the doc just in case it is anxiety, or anything else.
  • Oh yes I am exhausted 24/7. I was just thinking about how tired I am before I opened this! LOL
