Hello ladies. I'm a regular poster on the parenting after 35 board although our board is pretty slow. I'm 41 and I finally got my miracle baby at age 40 after 5 losses. She will be 10 months old in a little over a week.
I realized it might be good for me to join this board as well. I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to stay home, which is what I always wanted, and it is the most amazing, wonderful, challenging, sometimes frustrating experience ever. I was a nanny for over 20 years so I was pretty prepared, but my husband is hardly ever home and I often feel like a single parent and I'm SO. TIRED. ALL. THE. TIME.
I love my daughter more than anything but we just moved to a new state in February and I've only made one friend here, so it would be nice to chat with others who understand my challenges. I have an extremely energetic baby who is already walking and she just wants to go go go. Gosh I feel old.

Anyway, I hope you don't mind if I join in to vent, share, and hopefully save my sanity. Cheers!
Me:41, DH:41 Positive for MTHFR mutations- one copy C677T, one copy A1298C. One daughter born on Thanksgiving in 2013. Six losses.
