s/o Christmas...what is your 8 year old boy into?

Besides Legos.  LOL.  
I am sure DS will see commercials or already has a running list of things he wants, but I would like to get something that will keep his interest past Christmas morning.  

I did get him a remote-control helicopter on clearance because he has been wanting one.  And even though it might not last past the day.
