Tubal question

I am assuming once you have a Tubal, the pregnancy preventing effects are immediate? I had a c-section and tubal and the doc said "nothing in the vagina for 6 weeks". I assumed this meant to give me time to heal, hubby is curious if it takes some time for the tubal to take effect!

No. It is 6 weeks for c-section and vaginal tubal or no tubal.

This! I had a tubal and my discharge instructions still said to abstain for 6 weeks.
