The other polls got me thinking how old your moms were when you were born. I feel like I'm going to be one of the older moms in my neighborhood/school, even though I was only 29 when DD was born. My BFF just turned 29 and has a 1st grader! I'm behind

My mom was 26 when she had me.

It's odd because I know quite a few people my age that have 5-7 year olds and then quite a few people who are my age that have no babies or just had their first. There aren't any that have kids in between those ages, so I always felt like I was behind the ball. I got married 5.5 years ago, so we waited a while to have kids after marriage.

She was 22. I'm the middle child. She had all five of her girls in 5 years, with my older sisters being twins. So at my age (27) she had 5, ranging from 2-7. That seems so crazy to me.

MIL was 24 when she had my husband, 28 when she had my SIL.

I'm a weirdo only (established). My mom was 31 when she had me, I was 32 when I had Cam. I am pretty much right on par with most of my IRL friends, but then most of them went to law school with me, so we pretty much are all about 5+ years delayed on the family path.

My mom was 20 when she had me and 23 when she had my sister. They found a tumor when she was 24 and she ended up almost dying and having to have a hysterectomy. I'm so glad she started having children pretty early although I wish I had more siblings.
I was 3 days shy of 23 when I had Jude.

My mom was 42 when she had me. She got married late though, and I'm the 3rd. Not an oops.

I was 27 when I had A. Most people I graduated with have 5 year olds, but 3/4 of my closest friends all had babies last year, and my other friend is due with her first in a few weeks.

My mom had just celebrated her 18th birthday a few weeks before. I was 39 when I had my LO. Most of my best friends are childless, unfortunately. A couple were in their 30's. I often wonder what was in the water where we all worked, for so many of us to have struggled with infertility.

I was 25 with DD and 29 with DS. I almost always feel like the youngest mom of the group at DD's school functions/bday parties. It's interesting - in my circle of family and friends my age, we could open our own daycare with all our kids. But with DH's friends, we were the only ones for a while.
