2) How are you feeling? I have officially reached my tolerance for being pregnant. I also have a cold...so that sucks.
3) Any news/ upcoming appointments/ milestones? My Drs. set an induction date of the 27th if I haven't had her by then-we shall see what happens. I hadn't made any more progress on Tuesday since my last appointment. I feel like my body is just stuck in early labor and needs a boost to get moving.
4) GTKY: Hopes and birth plans aside, how do you *think* your labor will go.....or did it go based on what you were thinking? At this point, I have no idea HOW my labor will go. I really thought she would come early after all the PTL issues we dealt with and early progression, but yet here I sit with timeable and painful contractions that aren't moving things along. I am just hopeful to avoid a c/s, forceps, and an episiotomy. My doula is also having to go out of town today for the next 5 days, so with my luck she will come while she is gone!
My baby girl will be 2 weeks old tomorrow. Already? How did that happen?

My stitches are still killing me and this constant cough is not helping them feel better. Ouch!

Nothing really going on until baby girl's one month appointment.

I thought I wouldn't go into labor on my own. My water broke with DD1 but contractions never started, so I needed pitocin. I was being prepared for a c section when I had a very scary vacuum assisted birth for fetal distress.
For this labor, I was sure I was going to have to be induced. I also thought it was going to end in a c section. I had a strong feeling of this and even prepared work for the possibility of me needing 2 extra weeks off.
I went into labor this time the day after my due date. From time contactions started until little girl's arrival was less than 5 hours, and I had a textbook labor. It was a relief and complete opposite of my labor with DD1.
2) How are you feeling? Exhausted. Physicially and mentally. I drove to work, got out of my car and seriously considered getting right back in and going home. Coming to work is the worst, I have literally nothing to do since my replacement has taken over.
3) Any news/ upcoming appointments/ milestones? Appointment yesterday. 2 cm, 50% effaced. She offered to induce me at 40 weeks but I declined.

DS was born at exactly 39 weeks when my water broke and I really, really, really thought this one would come even earlier, so at this point I'm thinking I'll be pregnant until I'm induced at 41 weeks.

2) How are you feeling?
Better than yesterday. Prior to my 40 week appt, I felt no movement prior to going in, which is very unusual in the morning. I tried all my normal tricks...ice cold water, oj, eating a banana ( my doc had me cut back on some sugary fruits this summer prior to my GD test, and everytime I eat a banana LO usually starts kicking like crazy...except yesterday), laying down, and nothing. Once they hooked me up for the NST, she started moving constantly. Guess she just needed an audience!
3) Any news/ upcoming appointments/ milestones?
As long as movement stays up, next appt is Monday.

Based on family history, I'm guessing I will probably need to be induced to start my labor since almost every other woman in my family has. My mom had 4 CS since during her first, she had stopped progressing in labor.

40wks + 1day. Baby is the size of a jackfruit. Whatever the hell that is.
2) How are you feeling?
Contractions off and on all day today, just become regularish and then go away. Everything DH does/says makes me want to punch him in the face. Labour must be eminent.
3) Any news/ upcoming appointments/ milestones?
Need to go for an NST on Sunday if baby isn't here yet. Other than that 40wk appt Tuesday. Doctor didn't seem to think we would need it though. We'll see.

I've been expecting problems this entire pregnancy and have been so lucky not to have any. Therefore I think my labour will be a nightmare but will probably be pretty textbook. Hopefully!
