So Tessa threw up tonight for the first time. She woke at 10pm screaming, and when I went to check on her she was covered in a huge pile of vomit and panicking. So sad to see

Within 30 min she puked twice more... the last time was just a huge wad of clear mucus. Seemed miserable and exhausted (though NOT noticeably warm, and I didn't check her temp) and fell asleep on me. I transferred her to the swing seat and she has been sleeping there for an hour and a half now.
Kiddo never really puked as a baby so this is uncharted territory for me.
I'm just going to bed next to her. Is there anything else I should do or be watching for? I don't want to deliberately wake her up to feed, but I'll nurse her whenever she awakens on her own. Am I supposed to let her drink as much as she wants? Less?
Re: Pukey baby: give me the fast & dirty
I was really worried he was getting sick (the snot) but it turned out to just be an isolated incident. He drank a little extra at his next few feedings to rehydrate, but didn't get an extra feeding or feedings closer together than normal, and was just fine in the am. Hopefully the same for Tessa!
Eta: for us, more frequent feedings makes him more pukey. If we don't give him a solid two hours to let his tummy empty, it's no bueno in this house.
Ooh, and she just made a squawk... let the nurse-you-back-to-health games begin
