newborn cold

My newborn already has her first cold. Runny nose, sneezing,etc. Nothing I can do right? Thinking I just need to ride it out. Dosent help when I have a 3 yr. old nearby. Also would you take LO outside with a cold? I am guessing the fresh air will help. Its fall weather here.

    If your LO is congested, you can also use those saline nose drops to help loosen things up and then suction.  It is so tough  because there isn't much you can do. Hope LO feels better!

    We are going through this in my house right now.  Just lots of fluids, saline drops, and snuggles.  I am also watching closely for a fever because baby girl is under 28 days old, so she can't go above 100.4 degrees,
