Trying to Get Pregnant

First Post -NTTGPR How much time do you spend on this board?

I'm about a year away from trying to figure out how to do a Poll so that's not going to happen today. My question is how many hours ( on average) do you spend a day on the bump? I mostly lurk but find the amount of time I spend on here increasing at an alarming rate! I should be in bed by now!

  • I keep the site up all day (on workdays), but minimized. I check it about every 20-30 minutes. Weekends? I'm rarely on.
  • On and off all day. ::Hangs head in shame::

This. And it's only getting worse.

  • I plead the 5th.

OP, to make a poll: click the drop-down arrow to the right of "new discussion." It gives you options for "New Discussion," "New Poll," and "Ask a Question."

    Ta-da!

    Thank you!

  • Hardly any time at all. I'm surprised that anyone recognises me.

    I've never seen you here......

LOL at all replies....I'm not even an "active member" yet and find myself spending so much time here. How do you find time to wash your curtains ?

    Which curtains...

    Both!

  • More than I should, but less than what I would actually like to.
I find myself missing out on so many discussions, it's sometimes very hard to catch up! Especially when I thread has over 10 pages. I want to comment, but I don't want to sound like an idiot if I repeat something someone else said.. Buuuut... Sometimes I just don't have the time to read everything.. Sigh..

This. Sometimes I feel like it takes me too long to read the responses and by the time I want to reply it's too late.

Too much. I bump using my mobile and I keep my phone with me most of the day. I check on and off all day.

This is me. It's gotten way worse since the kids I nanny for went back to school. It's been way more "on" than "off" the last few weeks.

  • I don't have access to the internet at work so unless business is really slow, I can only check threads before and after my shifts on TB mobile. On my days off and weekends, I check in more frequently.

  • Depends how much I have because I do most of my bumping from work. Yesterday I was at a construction site all day and then completely exhausted when I got home and didn't even log in. I would say I'm on here more often on the weekdays than the weekend.

  • I will be late to work today because I am reading this post.

I knew I was on here ALOT when TB exceeded the amount of time I'm on FB.  FB kinda bores me now.

  • I lurk a lot more than I post because I am stuck on mobile on days I have to come to my office, and I hate typing on my phone. I just pass out all the love tits on those days.
No longer posting on The Bump due to the appalling misconduct of the staff and of its parent company, the XO Group. Four thousand  active, engaged members do not represent "a few bad apples" and we are not trolls.
  • The Bump has basically replaced Facebook for me. At least I gain insightful information now with my Internet time :)
This. I can go all day without checking facebook but check the bump first thing in the morning. I spend way to much time here unless it is the one weekend a month we travel, then I am pretty MIA.

  • I spend about an hour a day off an on lurking. I can't post nearly as much as I used to. I need so much more time though because a lot can happen in a short amount of time. I always catch the good threads like 4 pages in and don't usually bother posting at that point.

  • Since I have joined TB, I have abandoned Facebook. Not intentionally but this is my new "go to" when I get home and never have time for FB anymore. Can't say I miss it!
