Confess your food sins

We all have them. Confess!

I'm supposed to be MoH in my friend's wedding next month. The dress arrived and it is too right across the chest and will have to be let out. I've been wanting to lose weight for the event.

Yesterday, I made pumpkin bars (healthier.. Half the sugar, yogurt instead of oil). I've eaten at least half the pan. So much for losing weight.

  • Yesterday I went to the gym and was the ONLY person to show up for my boot camp class.  I told the instructor that I'd just go home too so she wasn't stuck there just for me.. on the way home I stopped and bought some chocolate chip cookies. Mmm.  

    I also have a ton of bananas that are too ripe so I'm baking some banana bread this afternoon.

  • I am obsessed with the spicy noodle bowls that you add hot water to. The fat and sodium content in them is outrageous though!! Even knowing how bad they are I still have one 3x a week..
  • I'm sitting here reading while eating Doritos after just eating 2 Pop Tarts like an hour ago....... Things like this are not unusual for me
  • I made chocolate chip cookies for the babysitter yesterday and she only had 2. I finished them off this morning for breakfast.

  • I had tons of leftover cake from DD's party and instead of sticking it in the freezer I've been having a piece every day..... I try to make it a small piece. I've also been eating all the leftover food, I don't want to waste any of it. So tons of pasta salad, potato salad, Raman noodle coleslaw! I looked at myself in the mirror yesterday and I actually look 6 months pregnant!! .... I sent a picture of my belly to my bestfriend joking that I was 6 months along & yup she believed me.
  • I ate an entire pizza to myself last night, as well has half a basket of the most delicious fried pickles I think I've ever eaten. 

    Worth it.

  • I made banana mini muffins "for baby." Baby ate 2. Between the last 2 days I ate 10.

    I'm so glad I'm not the only one that finds it appropriate to have dessert for breakfast and/or morning snack :)

    Also, has anyone ever had the almond croissant blossom from Starbucks? If not, you've been warned..

  • I should not have opened this thread! Now I really want ice cream, cake and donuts. (You ladies will always remind me of doughnuts)
    DS is allergic to everything. I did find some 'chocolate' flavored icing that appears to be made of sugar, corn and chemicals. When I get desperate for a 'treat' I eat it with a spoon. :-/
  • I just baked some double chocolate zucchini loaf. Gotta get my vegetables. ;)
