Pedicure with DD?

Has anyone done this? Thinking it would be easiest to put her in the carrier? Keep debating if I should do this or not.... but I have no one to watch her during the day when I want to go.

    You could always just hold her while you get your feet done. I had a foot/leg massage done once and just nursed L the whole time.

    I brought a blanket and let her play with her toys on the floor. She was pretty content the whole time.

    I went with a friend and kept LO in his car seat until he started fussing. Then my friend and I traded off holding him.

    I wore him and brought in stroller, but you never just close your eyes and relax... So I vote for going with another friend with baby ... One waits at coffee shop etc with babies while one goes in for 30 min. And switch. :)

    I have been wondering the same but LO is really big and I can only hold him so many different ways sitting down. I think I'll just leave him with SO so I can chill out.

    I've done it a few times and I agree with Lala. It's not relaxing. If you have to, it's doable. (I either put her in the k'tan or just let her squirm in my lap). But I'd rather not take her at all.

    I did this around 10 weeks. I had a friend with me and each of us wore one of the twins in an ergo. They pretty much slept the whole time.  My babies are pretty chill. If I scheduled an appointment for a time I knew they would be likely to be happy or easy to hold while they slept I would have no problem getting another one. You know your baby best. If you know they will be calm then do it. Worst case scenario you can always cut it short and leave if it doesn't work out. Just be prepared to pay for a full pedi even if you only get half one ;)

    I take DS and if he is asleep he stays in his car seat or if awake on my lap. To me it is relaxing because it's an excuse to just sit and enjoy him. But he is pretty relaxed and is happy to be on my lap with a toy. If he fusses I nurse. I do look forward to the day that I'm out and childless but I don't see that happening any time soon!!!
