Hand foot and mouth....

So we just got sent home from daycare with hand foot and mouth which I expected as it has been making its rounds there for a couple weeks. Any insight on cleaning things? When do I go crazy cleaning her toys and stuffed toys and what's the best way to clean em? I know nothing about hand foot and mouth so any insight is much appreciated!

I figured it was her eczema flaring up which started Saturday night. It has just kept spreading all week. Chest, face, down the arms, to diaper area and today just poped up on her feet. I did leave a message at her docs too.

    Ugh that stinks. It is going around here too. I had it in my early 20s and the sores in my mouth were the worst. I would boil everything you can. I have a cleaner from Clorox called everywhere spray. It is gentle enough on toys/high chairs but also disinfects. Good luck

    Tylenol. Its viral so it has to run its course.

    Poor babes. Its awful for a toddler, but can't imagine for a baby. Might be easier on their mouths since they are still on a liquid diet.

    Nothing you can do. All daycare babies will get it eventually. If LO seems to be doing ok you probably have a mild case.
    I'm surprised daycare sent you home. Once the sores pop up it's at the tail and it no longer contagious. It has a 10-day incubation period so once one kid has it they all do before you even know it.
    I would go to the doctor just to get the "ok" to go back to daycare.
