3rd Trimester

Napper/Bassinet/Swing/Bouncer/Mamaroo

Can someone please state the function of each. Do I need these all? Do any of these have multiple functions?

Re: Napper/Bassinet/Swing/Bouncer/Mamaroo

  • The Mamaroo bounces and swings. DD hated the bouncer and swing, so I recommend not spending a ton of money on either just in case LO doesn't like them. We had a pnp with the bassinet downstairs and didn't use anything else because she just didn't like them.

  • I can't believe you're going to be a mom.  Someone treats your child the way you are treating me online, lets see how you react.  I feel bad for you... karma is a bitch.

  • Are you going to comment after everything I comment?  And are you hoping others will join your bandwagon?
  • I feel like you should be able to get these answers pretty easily by researching your products.  Of course you don't need all or any of them.  There's no way to know what you'll use until your LO has been born.

My DD didn't care for the swing (she napped there occasionally).  My DS slept in his swing until almost 7 months both at night and for naps.

You could have used one thread for all of these questions.  And you are not being cyber-bullied.
  • OP you have started the same amount of discussions as you have replies.  90% of your replies are on your own discussions.  We are not your personal google.  You want answer google the shit and look at reviews.  Stop into a BRU or BBB and them.  Hell they get paid to deal with your bullshit.  You want support, show some yourself!!!!

You don't "need" any of them.

The baby needs a bed - this could be a crib, mini-crib, bassinet, co-sleeper, or pack n play with bassinet attachment. The best choice for you depends on various factors like where the baby is going to sleep, how much space you have, etc.

The bouncer/swing/mamaroo might end up being nice to have, but until your baby is born you won't know if she or he will like any of them. Borrow them first to try or buy used/cheap if you don't want to risk spending a lot of money on something the baby hates.
