R: I've started reading a chapter of Alice in Wonderland to Alice each day and it's my new favorite thing. She lays in my arms and listens so intently. When I finish, she usually falls asleep and I just sit there in bliss.

AW: I just found all of my headshots from three years ago. DH and I were freshly engaged and y'all, I look so damn good. The sad thing is, I remember feeling like I looked fat because I had gained about 10 lbs in our first year together. Now, I'm about fifty pounds heavier and ugh, it sucks. Finding those pictures is excellent motivation though. They're on my fridge now.

V: ANTS. I'm battling ants in the kitchen DAILY thanks to all this rain. Over it.

R- I'm lighting a pumpkin candle, drinking pumpkin spice coffee and the air is cool.. I freaking love fall.

AW: We had back to school last night and DD's teacher praised her behavior and kindness- made me feel super good and proud of her.

V- My H is having a midlife crises at 32 and says he has baby fever. He's been snipped. He won't stop talking about it. Is 32 the new midlife? He's stressing me.

V: It's been a hard day. I just don't have any patience. DS had a playdate this morning with his best bud. They fought the whole time. They normally play well together. Then they left, DD has been attached to my boob pretty much the rest of the time. DS was just a busy body and wouldn't leave anything alone. I finally got him convinced to go play downstairs while I was feeding/trying to get DD to fall asleep. Peace and quiet for a half an hour. Then nap time for DS. He fights me over it and gets out his room. DD wakes up and is crying and won't go back to sleep unless nursed. Finally got DS to stay in his room. Hopefully I'll get a nap with DD. I just want a nap..

And this probably sounds a lot worse than it is. I'm just tired. Thanks for letting me vent!

Random: DS's preschool teacher told me that she was proud of him today. Another kid shoved him, and rather than shove the other student back, he told the teacher. She said it was a sign of higher order thinking skills. I think it was more of a sign that he loves to point out anyone who has wronged him.

AW: My first real interaction with DS's teacher was positive :-)

Vent: I am tired. I have tutored 4 students in 2 days and all of them have been at the last minute, so I have been scrambling to pull together material.

Vent #2: My favorite student is a high school student who only needed help studying for tests. I helped him all last year with no problems. We studied History, Biology, Geometry, English, and even Sign Language. He called me last night asking for help studying for two tests tomorrow. When I got there, he threw Algebra and Chemistry at me. I cannot do Algebra or Chemistry...at all. I cheated my way through Chemistry in high school, and never looked at it again. If those are the classes he is going to struggle in this year, I am going to have to tell him to find another tutor :-(

R: it's really warm here right now and I kind of wish it felt more like fall. I know I'll regret that come January with -40 and several feet of snow.

AW: I can't think of anything. How about more R: I got bangs and am not sure I like them. My dad said it makes me look like a teenager (and not in a good way. Thanks dad!).

V: 3. Because, 3. I don't want everything to be a battle but lately it seems to be. Potty, meals, in and out of the car. EXHAUSTING.

AW: Joey shopped with me in the mall for 3 hours and was perfectly behaved. It was awesome. Except he was a dick again the minute we came home.

Dying.

I've been wearing the same two bras since 2011, before DH and I were even engaged. They were 36Cs.

I wore them even after gaining 50 lbs since then and through my pregnancy where I gained an additional fifty. I still wear them sometimes when I'm tired of my nursing bras.

...I'm now a 40DD. I really need to go shopping.

R: SIL is getting married this Saturday and the rehearsal is tomorrow. SIL still hasn't spoken to either DH or I about our role in the ceremony, though it's pretty much understood...I guess SIL planned to get MIL to ask/tell us? These dynamics are annoying but whatev....

AW: I went shopping after the boys went to bed and found a super cute dress for said wedding at White House Black Market...and since it was 50% off I got a skirt that was on sale too. I tried on so many dresses just for fun....that store always makes me feel pretty....and poor :P

V: On our evening walk L cried for a solid 10 minutes b/c I wouldn't let him run into the street. Later during bath time he started crying again for no apparent reason....I swear it was still b/c I wouldn't let him run into the street....

This is amazing. I couldn't even imagine shopping with DD for 1 hour without feeling I'm loosing my mind.

Is he serious? How do you feel?

@JellyBellyStarr- I'm pretty sure he's serious. Yesterday I borrowed his phone when we were in the car because I forgot mine at home and I was bored, and I opened safari to look something up (at Old Navy, innocent) and when I opened it he had google up "success rate of pregnancies after vasectomy reversal"

I feel like he's lost his damn marbles. And tomorrow's FFFC is that I had baby urge for 3 seconds last night. But I think it's just his fault and it will pass. I just need a drink, in reality.
