Sending a hug to anyone who needs one.
After spotting for two days on and off the spotting suddenly changed from brown to red and I completely freaked out and panicked. My first loss was at 5w5d, yesterday was 5w4d - so it made my panic even worse. I called RE and they let me come in for an u/s.
After crying and completely losing it the whole way there, the whole time I waited in the office, and crying through the ultrasound, the RE finally informed me that everything looked exactly as it should for 5w4d! Hard to see much, but there was a little squiggle that should be the little pole and the sac. It was a cute squiggle.
Already a milestone for us in a way. When we had our loss an ultrasound showed that it had not been big enough to have been nearly six weeks along, so things are going better in that respect. RE couldn't tell me why I was spotting but said it was common in about 20% of pregnancies and she didn't see anything that concerned her.
Trying to breathe a sigh of relief that everything looked OK.
I feel so badly for my husband though. He's gone right now and he was so worried about me and LO when I called him on the way to the u/s. He cried when I told him everything was OK. He just wants to be home with us.

I am still scheduled for an ultrasound on Monday, I'll be 6w3d then, so hoping we can see a little more.
My mom is flying in and spending a week with me, hopefully that'll help my sanity a little bit.

(((hugs))) lady.
I also suffered from unexplained spotting early on and got the same unassuring explanation from the OB. Everything turned out to be OK. That PGaL brain understandably goes crazy at the sight of any color in the undies.
Hopefully everything stays on track and you end up in the same camp as me.
