     TTC since April 2013  DH 42 y/o I'm 30  Dh had vasectomy reversal Feb 2013 after 3 months developed scar tissue 
     First Re appt was September 2013 OOP for everything minus meds  
    DH's TESE surgery December 2013
    First cycle was February 2014 BFN none to freeze
     Second cycle was April 2014 BFP ending in Chemical Pregnancy none to freeze
     Third cycle June 2014 BFN none to freez
     Fourth cycle October 30th 28 retrieved, 13 mature and 12 fertilized
    PICSI, assisted hatching and fresh sperm from my DH's TESE surgery used
    5 FROZEN from a freeze all cycle! 
    FET completed on DECEMBER 9TH!!!

    Beta #3 17dp5dt 3600 
    First Scan January 5th! Everything looks great! Heart rate of 121!

    Official diagnosis: Unexplained IF. I am 32. I have low ovarian reserve (low AMH), and poor egg quality. I've also been diagnosed with mild glandular developmental arrest (lining problems, detected with EFT).

    We are using open ID donor sperm. IUIs #1-7=BFN. IVF September 2014 antagonist protocol, 8R,5M,3F, 5 day transfer of 1 morula = BFN. IVF#2 planned for January 2015 (antagonist protocol + HGH).

    May 2014- HSG, all clear, started Synthroid, Femara 5mg CD 3-7 + trigger + TI= BFN
    Waiting for new RE appointment end of July 2014

    @brlee25 I did all my own shots up until PIO. I would have preferred to just do it myself, but the backside is a little tough. I had to do it myself once and it was okay, but wouldn't want to do that every day. DH was a wreck at first. He got so nervous to do it and was shaky and freaking out. Funny to think back. He got used to it and is much better now! I think it makes him feel like he is an important part of the process.

    So this can be done in the morning rather than at night for the stims?

    Married 2008. TTC since March 2009

    March 2010 - HSG, Tubes Removed, only IVF as option

    July 2014 - First visit back to RE, ready to dive into IVF.

    Aug 2014 - Had final orientation and baseline ultrasound. Have PCOS, RE expecting large qty for ER, but concerned for OHSS

    Starting stims on 9/6, hoping for ER week of 9/15

    I do mine by myself because DH is a delicate flower. At first, I needed a full-length mirror, but now I just stick that sucker right in. Can you have your RE draw a bulls-eye for you, at first? Knowing where the needle goes is half the battle.

    I ice for about 5-10 minutes, inject, rub really hard for a few minutes, and then apply heat if possible. Like IFinTN said, be prepared for the possibility of blood when you withdraw the needle. 

    It seems really daunting at first, but honestly, it's not that bad. Once you're used to it, it's not even too difficult to pull the plunger back to check for blood.

    @CMH25‌ don't count yourself out yet. According to the chart on another thread, it isn't until day 9 that HCG levels are high enough.
