I'm only 12 weeks, so I feel most of you ladies are ahead of me. With my first pregnancy I had a little belly at 16 weeks. This time, at 12 weeks, I feel like I already have that!
With my first, I started showing at 16 weeks or so, in the sense that DH and I could see the difference. I probably started really showing so that other people noticed closer to 20 weeks. With this pregnancy, I've been a bit bigger the whole time, but I wouldn't really say I'm showing yet. I'm just shy of 14 weeks. My mom did think I have a bit of a bump when I saw her this weekend. I don't know why it seems less clear cut to me this time.
With my first I noticed a bump around 20 weeks, others around 24 weeks. I'm 14 weeks with my second now, and feel like I'm rocking a small bump today, but it wasn't there yesterday, and could likely vanish tomorrow... I hate the "is that bloat or bump" game.
With my first, I didn't really start showing until 22 weeks, where I actually looked pregnant, and not fat. I'm 16 weeks, and I've been actually looking pregnant since 10 weeks.
With my second I think it was about 17 weeks. This time around I am 14 weeks and I just noticed my uterus a bit this morning- I think I will have a noticeable bump in a week or two.
I'm super tiny so I started showing early with both. Although this time around, I feel like I'm almost smaller? idk. i'm 16 weeks right now and I have a bump but most people just think I got chunky. I still am not obviously pregnant. I feel like it may be because my hips stretched last pregancy so this time I'm wider so the bump isn't as big yet.
The first round I didn't start showing until somewhere between 16-20 weeks... This time around I swear it was 9-10 weeks for family and close friends to notice. I'm just about 14 weeks and everyone is noticing....
With my first (12 yrs ago ) I started showing around five months. This time I see it, and so does my honey. Other people keep giving me diet tips so I guess I just look chubby I'm 14 weeks.
I am 13 weeks and at this time with my son I was sticking out a bit (not really noticeable to others) and had gained about 10lbs. So far my jeans feel tighter but you can't tell I'm pregnant at all and I haven't gained any weight. I think the difference for me is going from boy to girl. I hope it means I won't have another 8.5lb baby.
My first, I started showing around 14-15 weeks. This is my second pregnancy, and I had a bump at 10 weeks. I tried to hide it because I didn't want to tell work until I was out of first tri. When I told people at 12 weeks (I couldnt hide it any longer), everyone's response was "Oh I figured. I was just waiting for you to say something." /:)
I was real overweight with my first two, so with my first I didn't show until about 6 months and with the second I was showing around 4-5 months. Now with this one my third I am 15 weeks and have the start of a noticeable bump, plus I'm a lot smaller by at least 100 pounds, also the first two were boys and this one is a girl.
I didn't look at all pregnant until after 16 weeks with twins last time. This time around I have a very noticeable little bump at 12 weeks. It seemed to come out of nowhere this past week!
I think for #1 I started showing at like 17 weeks. This time around I felt like I had a visible bump at 13 weeks. I'll be 16 weeks tomorrow but feel like I didn't have this belly until after the A/S last time!
It's because with your first 20-40 years worth or muscles are fighting like hell to keep your belly in and with your second a your body is like "oh yea. This shit again. I remember what to do"
I was like past 26 weeks with my first, 15 weeks with the second (I was very sick) and 12 weeks now.
With my first I started noticeably showing around 16 weeks (maybe even a little sooner). This time around someone mentioned something to me at 12 weeks. I am 13 weeks and I still don't feel like I am "obviously pregnant". I mostly feel like I have just gained weight and bloat.
I had a very big bump with my son though, at five months pregnant people thought I was seven or eight months. When I was nine months pregnant I had several strangers stop and ask me if I was having twins. Let's see of it's the same this time around, I'm not going to lie I'm a little scared lol. I have a small frame and carrying around that big belly was harder then it looked haha!
With my first pregnancy, I bought maternity clothes at 18 weeks and they sat in my closet (even the pants) until 21 weeks. My close friends and family started commenting that I was finally showing at about 19-20 weeks but coworkers and people I didn't know as well didn't comment until about 25 weeks.
This time, at just over 12 weeks I look like I did at about 19 weeks with DS#1! Its crazy.
1st time around, had a cute, small but somewhat noticeable bump around 16/17 weeks. This time, I had such a hard time hiding it. It was mostly bloat and such, but by 9 weeks, I could easily pass for much further along. Here's a pic from 9 weeks.

No way that is 9 weeks! That's crazy (and a very cute bump, might I add!)
With #1 I started showing early- 11/12 weeks. I was actually quite large by 14 weeks. Already having to wear maternity clothes and had to change bra sizes twice. This time I continue to be amazed at how awesomely flat my stomach is. I'm almost 14 weeks now and I've gained about 5 pounds but neither DH nor I can figure out where it's going, because it's not going to my belly or boobs this time.
So the notion that you show earlier with #2 is not ringing true with me.

This is my first and my pants didn't for any more at 8 weeks and I already had to buy maternity clothes. Everyone thinks I'm having twins, but I'm not. There was a second sac froma twin that didn't form but that has been dissolved. I haven't gained THAT much yet, my belly is just protruding! My boyfriend, his kids, and his whole family are known for being big babies.
With my first, I was about 18 weeks. With my second, I was about 14 weeks. Now with my third, I was 10 weeks!!! I just hit the 13 week mark (today) and I look about 6 months pregnant!!!!
Glad this is here! I am pregnant with my first, and this last week my belly popped out of nowhere. I'm only 13 weeks along and I feel like I'm showing to the point of not being able to hide it. I'm in maternity pants and either big shirts or maternity shirts. I didn't know if this was normal! I've only gained 4 pounds...but I look super pregnant in my eyes...and it's like that first thing in the morning too! Please tell me I'm not crazy! Or if I am crazy...just be honest and let me know ...! Ha
Note to my post above...I'm pretty short...5'3" with a very short torso. Could this have something to do with it? My boobs have gotten like twice as big. And I was small before this! Wore a 25/26/2 in pants and a XS / S in shirts. Now suddenly I'm in maternity jeans !

I think the size of your torso has a lot to do with it. I'm also short, 5'2. Taller women, or women with a longer torso, have more room for baby. But shorter torsos leave less room for baby (and all the organs baby is pushing up and out) so there's really nowhere to go but out!

Thanks I couldn't believe how much it popped, and how early. I had a really hard time hiding it, especially since it is summer! I was constantly scared that everyone knew. But most everyone we told was shocked that I was pregnant. So it was all in my head.
I don't remember when I started showing with my first but it wasn't this early. I am still fitting in my pants but it's uncomfortable so I started wearing my belly band yesterday and now 12 weeks and I am showing
I'm changing my previous response from "not sure if I would really call this showing yet" earlier this week to yes. I'm definitely showing a bit at 14 weeks. Trying to keep it under cover for the time being though, since I don't want to go totally public with the news until I get the genetic testing results back and know the baby is healthy. Soon I hope!
Same as you...started showing with DS around 17 weeks, this one it is already obvious.
PPD/PPA Mom...it has been super hard, but I'm making it! Slow steps... Mom to Carter (6), and Calianne (1). Proud VBAC, natural birth, breastfeeding, cloth diapering momma!
