Really mom!? (updated)

So the hubby and I broke down and told my mom about our #4 on the way and her response was ...AND I QUOTE..."How could you let this happen!?" I'm still in shock! she's never been happy about ANY of my kids! but she loves them to death....When my sister had her baby it was all joyful and happy go luckly...NEVER with me...Mind you...I'm almost 32 years old and have been married 14 years... sigh...had to Vent!

Update...She FINALLY came around thanks to my sister! (God I love that girl!) My mom came and said sorry and said that babes are a blessing even with bad timing and unexpected....OMG...really...but hey something is better than nothing...i will take it! lol

My hubby and I are happy and My internet friends are happy for me lol thats all that matters! lol

It sucks to not get the support you want from family members. I haven't told my MIL yet for that very reason - she is going to let out a doozy.

I feel your pain. I took a test at my mothers house and then showed it to her, as I don't have a long-term partner. After silence, I encouraged her to say something, only to hear "why didn't you use a condom?"
Absolutely broke my heart, like she was disappointed in me.

I guess sometimes people don't think things through properly!

I took a test that came back negative one day after I should have started my last period and it came back negative... and I told my mom just because she has been kind of nagging me about the fact that I quit taking the pill cause I got all mood swingy, and we kind of wanted to get pregnant also... but anyway she rambled on and on for about 30 mins on how "It's good that I'm not pregnant... I need to get back on the pill... I can't handle a fourth baby right now..."

Some people just don't know how to be empathetic...
